The LCHS Boys JV Basketball team lost their second game of the season last night in a 44-38 loss to Dominion. After holding a 19-6 lead after the first quarter, the Raiders did not score a single point in the second quarter while Dominion scored 14 to take a 20-19 lead into halftime. The Raiders outscored the Titans 13-7 in the third quarter to take a 32-27 lead into the fourth quarter. The Titans put up 17 in the final frame while the Raiders avoided being shutout in the quarter only when freshman Augie Brody made two long three-pointers in the final 30 seconds of the contest.
Brody ended up hitting 4 three-pointers in the game and finished with a game-high 18 points. Sophomore Tommy Daughtrey also got into double digit scoring with 10 points.
The Raiders are now 14-2 this season with both losses coming to Dominion. The team back in action Friday when they host Loudoun Valley.
