The LCHS Boys JV Basketball team battled hard on the road, but ultimately came up short last night as Riverside held on for a 43-38 victory. The Raiders were down 5 at the end of the first quarter and at halftime, and only down 2 at the end of the third quarter, but the Rams outscored the Raiders 12-9 in the fourth to come away with the victory.
Freshman Augie Brody was the leading scorer for the Raiders with 11 points. Fellow freshman Nick Crump had 7 points, and sophomore Jared Briscoe chipped in with 6 points.
The Raiders will play again on Friday night when they host the Heritage Pride. The first time these two teams played this year (on January 5th) the Raiders came away with a 36-34 victory.
